The additional cardiac catheterization suite is the first in Kentucky to use advanced augmented-reality imaging equipment, according to an Aug. 22 news release from the hospital.This technology allows physicians to minimize patient radiation exposure while using imaging to repair needed areas.
Suite services include angioplasty, defibrillator placement or revision, cardiac ablation, pacemaker placement or revision and cardiac stent placement.
