According to a Feb. 10 tweet from Dartmouth Cardiovascular Fellowship Program, Thara Ali, MD, was driving in Lebanon when she noticed a person suffering cardiac arrest. She pulled over and performed CPR and administered shocks. Once the ambulance arrived, Dr. Ali followed it to the hospital, where she then performed an echocardiogram, then cathed the patient and opened their artery, according to a tweet from Eric Rothstein, MD, an assistant professor at Dartmouth’s Geisel School of Medicine.
The patient is alive and doing well, according to the tweet from the fellowship program.
