Led by Dimitrios Karmpaliotis, MD, and Amirali Masoumi, MD, the Cardiovascular Rescue and Recovery Program will provide treatment for patients in need of complex percutaneous coronary intervention due to severe, total or multiple difficult-to-treat blockages of the coronary arteries.
The program will also expand support capabilities for patients gravely ill with acute cardiac problems, including coordinated, multidisciplinary care such as mechanical support, PCI and surgical revascularization.
The medical center will further support the program by expanding its advanced medical imaging tools and clinical trials for complicated heart conditions.
At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
