The center, located in Jefferson, N.C., features five new exam rooms, a waiting room with electronic medical records and a provider’s office. Services include cardiology consultations, EKG, heart monitors, follow-up appointments and device management, and diagnostic services.
Previously, local residents had to travel out of the mountains for these services.
