Northwell hospital names cardiac chief

Northwell Health has tapped Andrew Krumerman, MD, to be its director of cardiac electrophysiology for Mount Kisco, N.Y.-based Northern Westchester Hospital.

Dr. Krumerman, who specializes in atrial fibrillation and ventricular arrhythmia, previously served as the cardiac electrophysiology director at New York City-based Montefiore Einstein Center for Heart and Vascular Care. He joins Northwell with more than 23 years of experience and extensive work on healthcare disparities and the use of AI to improve cardiac healthcare delivery, according to a news release from Northwell.
