Mon Health performed the procedure using Recor Medical’s Paradise ultrasound RDN system. The procedure uses a small balloon in the artery and seven seconds of ultrasound to reduce chronic high blood pressure and results in less patient discomfort, reduced fluoroscopy time, and reduced contrast load, according to a Jan. 1 hospital news release.
