The 44,000-square-foot building is the largest Heart and Vascular Institute facility in the UPMC system.
The facility features a cardiac rehab space, advanced cardiac imaging and a heart failure center. All services that currently take place in its Wormleysburg location will be relocated to the new facility, including its vascular surgery and vein center.
