Bethlehem, Pa.-based St. Luke’s University Health Network is providing its cardiologists with a personal virtual care team.
The program is launching with 24 cardiologists, who will each have a virtual team consisting of a nurse practitioner, medical assistant and registered nurse. Auxira Health, a company co-developed by MedStar Health and Abundant Venture Partners, will provide the virtual teams, which will aid with follow-ups, paperwork and care coordination online so cardiologists can focus on diagnosing, treating and caring for patients, according to an April 27 news release.
The system plans to extend the program to cardiologists in its St. Luke’s Heart and Vascular network across Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
At the Becker's 23rd Annual Spine, Orthopedic and Pain Management-Driven ASC + The Future of Spine Conference, taking place June 11-13 in Chicago, spine surgeons, orthopedic leaders and ASC executives will come together to explore minimally invasive techniques, ASC growth strategies and innovations shaping the future of outpatient spine care.
