The center will be renamed to Iliana Maria Lopez Cardiovascular Center at Tucson Medical Center as part of the gift agreement. The gift will be used to support the work of the center.

“It’s going to help us buy the equipment we need to pay for the professionals that are taking care of these patients and to get the finest physicians, structural heart care and other cardiovascular care for our patients,” Judy Rich, TMC Health’s CEO, told KVOA.

At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
