The subject rankings used data and metrics from Clarivate to find the subject rankings, and bibliometric data from Web of Science for the overall ranking. Subject rankings are based on academic research performance in those subjects using various bibliometric measures such as publications and citation, and indicators of global and regional reputation in each subject. Subjects are not classified by academic majors, departments or specific schools, such as medical schools. Read more about the methodology here.
