Chicago-based Rush University System for Health has named Rupa Sanghani, MD, chief of the Division of Cardiology and co-director of its Heart and Vascular service line.
Dr. Sanghani, who had been serving as interim division chief, will provide strategic, clinical and operational leadership across Rush University System for Health, according to an Oct. 15 news release.
As service line co-director, she will share oversight of budgets, clinical pathways, quality initiatives, clinical trial infrastructure and the integration of research into clinical care.
