Hartford (Conn.) HealthCare has opened a cardiac catheterization laboratory at Backus Hospital in Norwich, Conn.
The upgraded cath lab will support multidisciplinary care teams and evolving procedural needs, according to an Aug. 11 news release from the health system.
The new lab has an expanded footprint to improve workflow and accommodate imaging and interventional technologies, the release said.
