New York City-based Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai named Samin Sharma, MD, chief of clinical cardiology.
Dr. Sharma will oversee the strategic direction and daily clinical operations of the cardiology division, according to a July 8 system Facebook post.
Dr. Sharma, an interventional cardiologist, has worked at Mount Sinai for more than 30 years and has “made monumental contributions” to the system’s complex coronary care, the post said.
