Sumter, S.C.-based Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital is launching a heart valve clinic to treat aortic stenosis, mitral stenosis, mitral regurgitation or tricuspid regurgitation, the health system said April 27. 

The American Heart Association has recognized Stacey Rosen, MD, a practicing cardiologist at New Hyde Park, N.Y.-based Northwell Health, as its 2021 physician of the year.
