Arlington, Va.-based VHC Health named Brian Choi, MD, chief of heart and vascular services, effective Aug. 31.
As chief, Dr. Choi will provide strategic and clinical leadership to the system’s cardiovascular programs, integrate and grow cardiovascular services, enhance patient experience and improve quality outcomes, according to an Oct. 6 system news release. Dr. Choi, a cardiologist specializing in noninvasive cardiovascular imaging, will also maintain an active clinical practice and his appointment as professor of medicine and radiology at the George Washington University School of Medicine & Health Sciences.
He most recently served as chief medical information officer at GW Medical Faculty Associates.
