Lexington, Ky.-based UK HealthCare named Vedant Gupta, MD, director of the Gill Heart & Vascular Institute.
As institute director, Dr. Gupta will lead strategy and program development for all cardiovascular health and clinical services at the system, according to a March 31 system news release. He will collaborate with leadership within the system and medical college to provide quality care, grow clinical research and recruit talent.
He has served as the acting director for UK HealthCare’s cardiovascular health service line since 2025 and is associate chief of its division of cardiovascular medicine.
