Texas heart hospital kicks off $60M expansion

Dallas-based Medical City Heart Hospital has begun construction on a $60 million expansion.

The project will add 60,000 square feet to the facility, and 28 patient beds to the cardiovascular intensive care unit. It will also add specialty equipment for extracorporeal membrane oxygenation and shell space for additional progressive care beds in the future, according to an Aug. 28 hospital news release shared with Becker’s.

Medical City Heart is a 63-bed facility, which is part of Medical City Healthcare.
