Providence-based Lifespan, the health system to which the hospital belongs, said in a statement to WJAR, “Dr. Malcolm Kirk is not employed by Lifespan and has only admitting privileges at Rhode Island Hospital. We conducted our own investigation earlier this year regarding the complaint, and consider the matter resolved.”
