The expansion, part of a larger $4.8 million renovation project at the facility, provided the diagnostics center with additional equipment for echocardiograms, stress echocardiograms and vascular ultrasounds.

As a result, patients will get faster diagnoses and wait less time for treatment, an Ochsner spokesperson told the news outlet.

At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
