Northwestern Medicine Bluhm Cardiovascular Institute has opened a new location in Tinley Park, Ill.

The new clinic offers echocardiograms, supervised stress testing and heart monitoring, designed to support earlier diagnosis, risk assessment and coordinated care for patients with cardiovascular concerns, according to an Aug. 19 news release from Chicago-based Northwestern Medicine shared with Becker’s.

The Tinley Park site adds to a suburban Chicago network that includes locations in Orland Park, Mokena and Palos Hospital; the latter integrated into the Bluhm institute’s footprint in 2021.

Northwestern Medicine plans to bring additional services to the Tinley Park facility this fall, including primary care, neurosciences, rehabilitation therapy, rheumatology, endocrinology, neurodiagnostic testing and diabetes and nutrition services.

At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
