New Hyde Park, N.Y.-based Northwell Health has tapped Snehal Patel, MD, as system director of heart failure in the Northwell Transplant Institute and Northwell Cardiovascular Institute.
Dr. Patel will also serve as co-director of the Northwell Transplant Institute’s Center for Heart Failure, Transplantation and Mechanical Circulatory Support, according to a July 31 LinkedIn post from the health system.
He joins Northwell Health from New York City-based Montefiore Health System, where he served as medical director of cardiac transplantation.
