Rochester (N.Y.) General Hospital opened its newly renovated cardiac catheterization lab.

The lab underwent a $1.5 million renovation to both modernize its aging infrastructure and end-of-life equipment and create a more efficient and supportive clinical environment, according to a Feb. 3 hospital news release. The renovation was funded by the hospital’s parent system, Rochester Regional Health.

“This renovation is about much more than new technology; it’s about investing in the health of our community for decades to come,” Tammy Snyder, president and COO of RGH, said in the release. “By upgrading this essential space, we’re ensuring our teams have the tools and environment they need to deliver the highest level of cardiac care, today and into the future.”

At the Becker's 23rd Annual Spine, Orthopedic and Pain Management-Driven ASC + The Future of Spine Conference, taking place June 11-13 in Chicago, spine surgeons, orthopedic leaders and ASC executives will come together to explore minimally invasive techniques, ASC growth strategies and innovations shaping the future of outpatient spine care.
