Somerville, Mass.-based Mass General Brigham has tapped Christine Albert, MD, as the inaugural chief of the division of cardiology within the system’s Heart and Vascular Institute.
Dr. Albert currently serves as chair of the cardiology department at Los Angeles-based Cedars-Sinai’s Smidt Heart Institute, according to an internal announcement from Mass General shared with Becker’s.
She will officially join Mass General Brigham in March.
