Fort Lauderdale-based Holy Cross Health, part of Livonia, Mich.-based Trinity Health, is set to receive a $5 million gift to strengthen heart and vascular care.

The planned gift is among the largest Holy Cross Health has received in its 70-year history, according to a July 21 news release from the hospital.

The funds have been committed through the estate plans of Charles and Jacqueline Frasier, who credit the Holy Cross Health cardiovascular team with saving Mr. Frasier’s life, the release said.

At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
