The new technology “supports precise and predictable motion through its laser-guided positioning and provides stunning details regardless of patient size,” according to the release. The first procedure was performed in the electrophysiology lab on May 23.

The new lab also allows for more collaboration between the cath lab and interventional radiology lab.

At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
