Georgia hospital debuts 40K-square-foot heart institute

Rome, Ga.-based AdventHealth Redmond has opened a new Heart, Lung and Vascular Institute, centralizing cardiac services in one location, according to an April 17 report by Coosa Valley News.

The 40,000-square-foot facility opened to patients April 20 and offers diagnostic testing, cardiac rehabilitation, cardiothoracic surgery and heart failure care.

The institute is designed to streamline care and improve access for patients across northwest Georgia and northeast Alabama.
