Naples (Fla.) Comprehensive Health will name the catheterization labs and boardroom of the future RM Schulze Family Heart and Stroke Critical Care Center after a recent $10 million gift from Jay and Patty Baker.
The new center, on which the system has yet to start construction, has been funded almost entirely through philanthropy, according to a March 31 news release from the health system.
NCH has secured about $180 million of the $265 million it needs for the project, the release said.
At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
