Essentia Health-Fargo (N.D.) has added a second electrophysiology procedural suite, allowing two electrophysiologists to perform procedures at the same time.
The $2 million project converted a general operating room into the new suite, according to a Sept. 24 news release.
More than 30 patients have undergone procedures in the suite since it opened in early June. The Duluth, Minn.-based health system expects the added capacity to roughly halve wait times for electrophysiology procedures, the release said.
