Chico, Calif.-based Enloe Health broke ground on its $120 million heart, vascular and imaging center Aug. 5, ABC affiliate KRCR reported.
The 68,400-square-foot facility will bring the system’s advanced imaging and cardiovascular services under one roof, and will allow for extended operating hours. Leaders said they expect to serve 25% more patients.
The heart center is expected to cost about $120 million, with more than $31 million dedicated for advanced medical equipment. Construction is expected to be completed in summer of 2028.
