Dr. Kaplon is a board-certified cardiothoracic surgeon with more than 20 years of practice experience. He most recently served as chair of cardiology and cardiovascular surgery at Dignity Health’s Mercy General Hospital in Sacramento, Calif.
He also previously served as director of the artificial heart program and medical director of perfusion services at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami.
