The center will be named the Steven D. Bell Family Heart & Vascular Center Moses Cone Hospital after donors Steve and Jackie Bell, according to a Jan. 8 news release from the health system.

The gift will also help establish the Dr. Thomas D. Stuckey Endowed Chair in Cardiovascular Research at the LeBauer-Brodie Center for Cardiovascular Research, the release said.

Cone Health said it plans to recognize the “historic contribution” in a ribbon-cutting ceremony this spring.

At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
