Cincinnati-based Christ Hospital Health Network has received a $15 million gift to expand services at its Heart & Vascular Institute.
The system plans to build a new cardiac operating suite with broadcast capabilities, enabling “real-time surgical education to physicians locally and around the world,” according to an Aug. 6 news release.
Funds will also support an investment in MRI, CT and PET scanners to improve diagnostic and procedural capabilities, the release said.
The gift — the largest in Christ Hospital Health Network’s history — was given by the Farmer Family Foundation.
