American College of Cardiology welcomes new president

The American College of Cardiology has named Cathleen Dalton Biga, MSN, RN, as its new president. Her term will begin in 2024 and end in 2025, according to a July 17 news release.

Ms. Biga has nearly 40 years of experience in the field and previously served as the vice president of the group for the 2023 to 2024 term.

Her appointment to the role will take effect April 8, 2024, following the organization’s annual conference in Atlanta.
