The organization analyzed the compensation and productivity of more than 189,000 providers across 459 medical groups, including in 12 physician specialties, according to a July 12 news release from the AMGA.
Hematology and medical oncology saw the next-highest increase at 7.1%, followed by neurology at 6%
Survey analysis showed there was a 5.1% increase in compensation across all medical specialties, greater than the 3.6% increase reported for primary care physicians.
