Greenbrae, Calif.-based MarinHealth opened its Haynes Heart & Vascular Institute.

The institute is named after the late Bill Haynes and Reta Haynes, whose philanthropic gifts helped shape the cardiovascular programs at MarinHealth, according to a June 30 system news release.

The institute offers comprehensive cardiovascular services, including preventive heart care, cardiothoracic surgery, an advanced structural heart program, a heart rhythm program, a women’s heart health program, a sports cardiology program, comprehensive vascular surgery and advanced cardiovascular imaging services.

Later this year, the system will also launch a cardiac rehabilitation program featuring Pritikin Intensive Cardiac Rehabilitation curriculum, the release said.

At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
