The FDA-approved device tackles venous obstructions with a dual-stent design that includes hybrid and extend stents, according to a June 18 system news release shared with Becker’s. The study that led to its FDA approval enrolled 162 subjects across 30 centers, including Sanger. It found after 12 months, 90.2% of treated veins remained open and unobstructed and that the system had a success rate of 98.7%.

At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
