The center, located in Jefferson, N.C., features five new exam rooms, a waiting room with electronic medical records and a provider’s office. Services include cardiology consultations, EKG, heart monitors, follow-up appointments and device management, and diagnostic services.
Previously, local residents had to travel out of the mountains for these services.
“We are so excited to be able to serve the patient population of this community,” said new Ashe cardiologist William Scarpa Jr., MD.
