Portland, Ore.-based Northwest Regional Heart and Vascular has been renamed Adventist Health Northwest Heart Center.

The new name more accurately reflects the center’s affiliation with the Adventist Health Oregon State Network, according to a July 24 news release from Adventist Health.

Outside of Portland, the heart center has locations in McMinnville, Columbia Gorge and the Oregon coast and aims to provide rural communities more access to cardiac care, the release said.

“This is a unified program. The new name more accurately and effectively represents the size and scope of the Adventist Health cardiac care program across our network,” Kyle King, Adventist Health Oregon State Network president, said in the release.

At the Becker's 23rd Annual Spine, Orthopedic and Pain Management-Driven ASC + The Future of Spine Conference, taking place June 11-13 in Chicago, spine surgeons, orthopedic leaders and ASC executives will come together to explore minimally invasive techniques, ASC growth strategies and innovations shaping the future of outpatient spine care.
