- NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County’s nuclear cardiology laboratory received a three-year reaccreditation from the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission in Nuclear Cardiology.
- Neptune, N.J.-based Hackensack Meridian Jersey Shore University Medical Center’s electrophysiology lab received accreditation from the American College of Cardiology.
- Sioux Falls, S.D.-based Avera McKennan Hospital & University Health Center received advanced certification for heart failure from Det Norske Veritas.
- Salina (Kan.) Regional Health Center received heart failure reaccreditation from the American College of Cardiology.
- Pensacola, Fla.-based Ascension Sacred Heart received designation as a Venous Thromboembolism Center of Excellence from the National Blood Clot Alliance.
- Murray, Ky.-based Murray-Calloway County Hospital’s cardiac catheterization lab received accreditation from the American College of Cardiology.
- West Orange, N.J.-based RWJBarnabas Health’s Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, N.J., received the Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval for Advanced Certification in Comprehensive Stroke Center.
- The cardiovascular ICU at New Orleans-based LCMC Health’s East Jefferson General Hospital received accreditation for the implantation of a left ventricular assist device in heart failure patients from Det Norske Veritas and authorization to perform heart transplants from the United Network for Organ Sharing.
- Beckley, W.Va.-based Raleigh General Hospital was awarded Cardiac Cath Lab Accreditation with percutaneous coronary intervention by the American College of Cardiology.
- Kansas City, Mo.-based St. Luke’s Hedrick Medical Center earned The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval and the American Heart Association’s Heart-Check Mark for Acute Heart Attack Ready Certification.
- Little Rock-based University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences was awarded echocardiography accreditation for its cardiac noninvasive laboratory by the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission.
- Central Carolina Hospital’s Heart Failure Program received reaccreditation from the American College of Cardiology.
- Hollywood, Fla.-based Memorial Healthcare System’s Cardiac and Vascular Institute was awarded a Heart Failure with an Outpatient Services designation by the American College of Cardiology.
The system’s Adult Congenital Heart Disease program was designated an accredited Comprehensive Care Center by the Adult Congenital Heart Association.
The system’s Memorial’s Ventricular Assist Device program was accredited by The Joint Commission for the 10th consecutive year. - Dalton, Ga-based Vitruvian Health’s Hamilton Medical Center was awarded Chest Pain Center Accreditation with primary percutaneous coronary intervention by the American College of Cardiology.
- St. Mary, Ohio-based Grand Lake Health System was awarded a Heart Failure Advanced Certification from Det Norske Veritas.
