50 top children’s hospitals for cardiology, heart surgery 

Texas Children’s Hospital ranked as the top children’s hospital for cardiology and heart surgery in the nation, U.S. News & World Report found. 

U.S. News and RTI International, a North Carolina-based research firm, analyzed clinical data from 114 children’s hospitals nationwide, assessing facilities across structural, process and outcomes measures. The two also surveyed thousands of pediatric specialists and weighed their responses in compiling the rankings. Learn more about the methodology here. This year, 91 hospitals were ranked among the top 50 in at least one specialty.
