To receive verification, hospitals had to show a commitment to improving outcomes and delivering the best treatment for patients receiving vascular surgical and interventional care in an inpatient setting, according to a June 14 ACS news release.

The following hospitals were verified as Comprehensive Inpatient centers — one of two levels of participation for inpatient hospitals:

  • Albany (N.Y.) Medical Center
  • Baylor Scott & White The Heart Hospital-Plano (Texas)
  • Keck Hospital of USC (Los Angeles)
  • University of California San Francisco Medical Center

At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
