4 cardiologists on the move

Below are four cardiologists who recently joined new practices, stepped into new roles or announced their departures.

1. Morristown, N.J.-based Atlantic Health System has selected Abhishek Singh, MD, PhD, to lead its advanced heart failure program. 

2. George Ruiz, MD, has been tapped to serve as cardiology chair at Danville, Pa.-based Geisinger.

3. Cardiothoracic surgeon Timothy Swain, MD, joined the medical team at Michigan City, Ind.-based Franciscan Physician Network Heart Center. 

4. Partho Sengupta, MD, will join New Brunswick, N.J.-based Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital as chief of cardiology effective July 1.
