Spartanburg (S.C.) Regional Healthcare System is planning to build a $325 million Heart and Vascular Hospital.
The 240,996-square-foot facility will have 104 new beds, including 90 acute-care beds and 14 coronary care unit beds; 24 catheterization lab pre- and post-procedure beds; additional diagnostic testing and procedural space; a new cardiovascular recovery unit and space for structural heart program expansion. It will be located in front of the existing Heart Center, and will streamline connections to primary and specialty physicians, according to an Aug. 25 hospital news release.
The hospital is expected to open in 2030.
