Baptist Health heart institute taps system cardiovascular chief

Miami-based Baptist Health Heart and Vascular Care named Sanjeev Gulati, MD, executive deputy director and system chief of cardiovascular medicine.

Dr. Gulati, an advanced heart failure and transplant cardiologist, has extensive experience in cardiovascular program development. He will help the system grow cardiovascular services and enhance patient access to specialized care, according to a July 15 system news release.

He previously served as chief of adult cardiology at Sanger Heart & Vascular Institute, part of Advocate Health in Charlotte, N.C.
