Dell Children’s heart leader heads to Children’s National

Washington, D.C.-based Children’s National named Michael Taylor, MD, PhD, chief of the division of cardiology.

He will join the Heart and Lung Center, according to a June 1 system news release shared with Becker’s.

“I am looking forward to joining this storied program that has a reputation for talented faculty and great cardiac surgery,” Dr. Taylor said in the release. “Together, I hope we can continue to raise the profile of the Heart and Lung Center as a world-class referral destination for pediatric cardiac care and research.” 

Previously, he worked as director of noninvasive imaging at Texas Center for Pediatric and Congenital Heart Disease at Dell Children’s Medical Center in Austin.
