Charlotte, N.C.-based Advocate Health and Hospitals Corporation has acquired a cardiovascular ambulatory surgery treatment center and outpatient facility in Naperville, Ill., for $23.4 million, according to a June 3 REJournals report.
The 42,438-square-foot facility was sold by HSG Medical and Capital Healthcare Properties to the Advocate Health subsidiary.
The property was developed by HSG Medical and Capital Healthcare Properties as a redeveloped cardiovascular ambulatory surgery treatment center and outpatient facility. The building serves as an extension of the cardiology program at Downers Grove, Ill.-based Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital and includes a cardiac catheterization operating room, recovery services, cardiovascular specialty offices, primary care, cardiac diagnostics, laboratory and imaging services.
The facility is located within the Freedom Commons mixed-use development in Naperville and was converted from an existing building into a single-story medical facility to support cardiovascular surgery and outpatient care.
