New York hospital taps cardiology leader for president

Rochester (N.Y.) Regional Health named Randy Green, MD, president of Rochester General Hospital, effective immediately.

Dr. Green, a cardiac surgeon, will partner with hospital leaders to support day-to-day operations and leadership continuity with the system, according to an April 8 system news release.

He joined the system in 2024 as executive medical director of the Sands-Constellation Heart & Vascular Institute.

Previously, he served as division chief of cardiac surgery at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, N.Y., and director of the Upstate Heart Institute.
