Renata Medical named Evan Zahn, MD, as chief medical officer, effective Jan. 1.
Dr. Zahn will step down from his leadership role at Los Angeles-based Cedars-Sinai Medical Center to join Renata full time. He has more than two decades of experience in pediatric and congenital interventional cardiology, according to a Jan. 12 news release.
At Renata, Dr. Zahn will lead clinical strategy, research and development, medical education and physician engagement. His appointment will support the company’s efforts to scale and advance its technology for children with congenital heart disease.
