Gainesville-based Northeast Georgia Health System has named Haley Harrison, MSN, RN, vice president of the Georgia Heart Institute.
As vice president, she will oversee the system’s comprehensive heart and vascular service lines, according to an April 9 news release from NGHS. Her appointment marks a return to the system, as she previously served as a clinical simulation nurse educator earlier in her nursing career.
Ms. Harrison also previously served as executive director of Atlanta-based Piedmont Healthcare’s Piedmont Heart Institute, as well as chief nursing officer at the Piedmont Walton Hospital in Monroe, Ga., according to the release.
