Mount Sinai Cardiovascular Clinical Institute taps Dr. Samin Sharma for director

Dr. Samin Sharma was appointed director of New York City-based Mount Sinai Cardiovascular Clinical Institute.

Dr. Sharma, an interventional cardiologist, will be tasked with enhancing the institute’s clinical care, operations, innovation, education and clinical research, according to a Nov. 28 release.

He will continue to serve in leadership roles within the Mount Sinai Health System, including director of interventional cardiology, senior vice president of operations and quality for Mount Sinai Heart, president of the Mount Sinai Heart Network and dean for international clinical affiliations.
